A lot of people ask me what they should get to go bass fishing. There are literally tens of thousands of products for freshwater fishing available. Here is a list of what I think a credible bass fisherman would need to start outfitting himself to have a great fishing experience. These aren’t the most expensive items available, but they aren’t the cheapest either. This is what I would buy if I was spending my own money to get started. As I always say, “I’ve spent more money on dumber stuff!” Buy right first and save yourself frustration and possibly losing a nice fish!
