Here are some pictures from Billy’s past. Up top is Nana and Poppa holding Elizabeth when she first came home from the hospital. Next to that one is a picture of me and my sister (1964). Then there are pictures of my Dad and me both at the same age at the beach.
Billy Cook was born in Hartford, CT at St. Francis Hospital on April 29, 1961. He went to Our Lady of Sorrows grammar school and then attended South Catholic High School. Billy spent his freshman year in college at The University of New England in Biddeford, ME and then transferred to The University of Hartford where he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice in 1983. Billy’s dad Bill, passed away on May 18, 2005. Billy’s mom Joan, sister Peggy, and her husband John Grocki live in West Hartford, CT. His brother Jerry and his wife Michelle and their two kids Mollie and Will also live in West Hartford. Billy’s youngest brother Bobby and his wife Joanne have four children; Bobby, Aiden, Grace, and Katie and they live in Wethersfield. In 1986 Billy moved to Maine, got married, and bought his first house. Billy and Mary Cook will celebrate their 25th Anniversary on September 6, 2011. On October 17, 1991, their daughter Elizabeth was born and has flourished into an amazing young woman.
In the intervening years since college he has been a police officer, computer programmer, technology strategist, project manager, and future lottery winner. BC as he is known to friends and foes alike loves to fish in both fresh and salt water and identifies himself as a fisherman first and a project manager second. Billy hopes for the return of the values that made this country exceptional and endeavors to correct the thinking of everyone who needs it. When he has the time and inspiration, Billy brews a pretty mean pale ale from a recipe for his favorite beer, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. While not much of a cook (no pun intended), he is pretty accomplished in the consumption end of things and loves good food, drink, and the company of good friends and neighbors.
